Della Joyce Sullivan

Della was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on June 11, 1937 to Ida and William Breadner. She met and married her husband Orville in Saskatoon, and together they had three children. They moved a couple of times, ending up within Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia throughout their lives. After the passing of her husband in 2012, Della moved to her final home in the Calgary area until her passing.

Della is lovingly remembered by her three children, Kim (Ted) Hickey, Blake Sullivan, and Barry Sullivan; her two grandchildren Ryan (Krista) Younger, and Kelly Younger; and her two great-grandchildren Nolan Younger, and Bennett Younger. She was predeceased by her husband Orville Sullivan; her brother and sister-in-law Keith (Mable) Breadner; and her parents many years ago.

Della was a fighter and had a strong spirit; she survived many illnesses and thrived as a leader, working for many years as a manager for Woolco before it became WalMart. She loved bingo, gardening, bird watching and being around animals. She will be very missed by her loving family.

A Memorial Service will be held at SOUTH CALGARY FUNERAL CENTRE, 12700 Macleod Trail South (at Lake Fraser Gate), on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 3:00 p.m.
