Mr. Clifford Brantwood Smith

Clifford Brantwood Smith passed away at the Bethany Care Centre on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at the age of 59 years following a brief illness.

Cliff is survived by his sister, Adrian (David) Oseen; nieces Erinn (Harlan Kovac), Kerri (Rob MacKinnon) and Shannon (Mike Sparkes) Oseen and nephew Michael (Keri) Oseen. “Uncle Brutus” will be missed by grandnieces and nephews Olivia, Annelise and Owen Kovac, Charlie and Brynne MacKinnon, Abby and Kate Oseen, and Josephine Sparkes. Cliff was predeceased by his parents Clifford F. and Jean M. Smith. He was a lifetime resident of Calgary and prior to his retirement worked for WestRoc Inc. He loved family dinners, listening to The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, competitive Trivial Pursuit, and wrestling with his nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses at the Rockyview and Foothills Hospitals, especially Dr. Miller at Foothills, as well as the compassionate staff at Bethany, who cared enough to make his last days comfortable.
