Caroline Ann Radford

1914-2013

Carrie Radford, beloved wife of Samuel (Sam) Owen Radford (deceased), passed away in Calgary, AB on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at the age of 98 years with family at her side.

Carrie was born at home in Coleman, AB on December 8, 1914. She married Sam in 1941. She is survived by her sons, Jim (Betty) and Duane (Adrienne) of Edmonton and her daughter Jill (Ray) Bussey of Springbank. She also leaves to mourn her grandchildren: Jennifer, Cheryl (Adam Baxter), Myles (Allison Byrne), Bill and great granddaughter, Lily. Carrie was predeceased by her father (Albert Sapeta) and mother (Victoria); sisters, Jennie, Alice, Helen, and Violet and brothers, Carl and Joe. Carrie was a wonderful Mother and Grandmother, a loving person dedicated to her family. She’ll be dearly missed by everyone she knew. Carrie was able to live in her own home until shortly before her passing. The family would like to thank the staff of the Calgary Chinook Care Centre Hospice for their wonderful care during Carrie’s last days.
