Bernard "Bud" Stewart

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bernard “Bud” on Friday, October 19, 2012 at the age of 82 years. He will always be remembered by his beloved wife of 60 years, Elaine; daughter, Donna (Frank) Ostrow; sons, Ken (Kelly Ganter) and Rod (Sally). Bud was a proud Grandpa to Kyle and Shawn Ostrow, and Megan and Ryan Stewart. He will also be missed by his extended family and friends. Bud was born in Three Hills, AB where he spent his youth before moving to Calgary in 1950. He began his 36 year career at Texaco in 1954, retiring in 1990. His retirement years were spent travelling to many parts of the world, most recently wintering in Mesa, AZ where he enjoyed golf and social activities with friends. A Celebration of Bud’s Life will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Monday, October 29, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made directly to The Lung Association of Alberta, P.O.
