It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Annie May Clark on October 17, 2017. She was predeceased by her husband Beverly; her brothers Leroy, Frank, Johnny, Charlie; and her sister Kay. She is survived by her four daughters, Louise (David) Amlund, Esther (Kim) Stainsby, Diana (Roy) Woolliams, and Myrna Clark. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, Jayson (Liz) Savage, Christy (Matt) Hofbauer, Larry (Kortney) Woolliams, Danette (Jim) Smithson, Colleen Schmidt, Christopher Schmidt, Steven (Michelle) Amlund, Nadina Stainsby and Treena (Todd) Huxley; eighteen greatgrandchildren; one sister, Margaret (Bud) Pals; sister-in-law Dorothy Whitnack; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Annie was born and raised in Kathryn, Alberta. She and Bev raised their children in the Balzac area. She was very involved in local community activities such as 4-H Clothing, Red Cross Quilting Circle, Columbia Ladies Sewing Circle, and later in her life won many awards for her baking skills. She drove school bus and worked at the Foothills Hospital for many years.
The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the staff of Unit 81 of the Foothills Hospital for their compassionate care of Annie.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Woodside Senior Centre, 411 Woodside Circle, Airdrie, on Sunday, October 22, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
