Ann leaves behind her husband, Baxter, daughters Dani Barrington (Don), Dianne Baron of Vernon, Lou (Debbie) Jones and son Derrick Jones; grandchildren Jason Baron, Lindsey Barrington and Sydney Rae Jones; sisters Mary Credico, Victoria Credico (John); brother George Lastuka (Lois) of Lethbridge and 11 nieces and nephews.
Ann was an independent woman ahead of her time. She managed to balance her career, amazing domestic talents and family life. In her later years, she stayed active with golf, bowling and bridge and enjoying her grandchildren.
A gathering of friends and family will be held at SOUTH CALGARY FUNERAL CENTRE, 12700 Macleod Trail South, (at Lake Fraser Gate) Calgary on Sunday, June 5, 2011 at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in Ann’s honour directly to STARS Air Ambulance, 1441 Aviation Park NE, Box 570, Calgary, AB T2E 8M7.
