As we reflex on the one year anniversary of God calling you home, your joyous, kind and loving spirit Mom continues to influence our lives.
The Autumn season and falling leaves brings beautiful thoughts of you spending time with us.
Our family misses you and we cherish every memory that we have of you, but as you would say, from God we come; and to God we must return.

It has been almost a year since my beautiful mother passed away. I still think about her everyday,Often I think about my mother's voice of wisdom giving me good advice , her loving nature & caring ways will always remain in my heart I miss you Mom but I know you would have said not to be sad for we will meet again one day.

On Thanksgiving weekend I want to express my heartfelt thanks for a wonderful mother in law. I have grown so much as a person thanks to Molly, her guidance and prayers always over us. Molly came out and celebrated Thanksgiving with us many times and would cook up an amazing meal. Molly was always about a reason to get together to celebrate something and always included a amazing meal. I will miss her but know that she is at peace with our Lord and she will continue on because she touched us all. The world was a better place because she was in it.

We didn't have the opportunity to know Molly personally, but because we know Ken and Maureen and their girls, we know that Molly was a special mother and grandmother who loved her family and her Lord. We are sorry for your loss, but thankful that Molly is now celebrating in heaven with the angels and those she loved who have passed on before her. May God's comfort and peace that surpasses all understanding surround you all in your time of grief and loss.

In the early 50's my mother had to make some tuff decisions to leave an abusive relationship and start a new life for the two young girls and to better herself. While her new found faith taught her very strongly that the best outcome for children is that their parents stay together, she felt she couldn't have little eyes and ears see and hear that disruptive pattern of behavior and had to break the cycle.

The transition was difficult, and after working in several low paying jobs, she decided she would need a career and a way to support her girls and off to hairdressing school my mother went.

In the 60's we saw our mother become a strong woman, an entrepreneur ,owning several hair saloons over the years, hiring young women and was awarded by her peers several times in her career.

Her new life with Edwin brought a son and was rich with love, respect, and understanding and of course her always-enduring faith that grew through all these years.

Her retirement was full of challenges losing a husband, a dear daughter Shirley, a sister and bothers but Mom stayed strong and continued to be a pillar of support with love and comfort for the family, friends and anyone that needed her prayers.

Our family will deeply miss this gracious hostess but have comfort that Moms smile,gentleness,generosity and kindness impacted many lives and we'll do our best to live our lives as mom would of prayed for us to do, many many times.

Our love and prayers to the family!  We honor a very special lady.  The years of your friendship and praying for us has impacted our lives forever.  We will carry the baton and pass it to the next generation.  Until we meet again - Thank you

I have  great memory of Aunty Molly, I was in grade 6 mom took my sister Charlene and me to her hairdressing shop I believe it was in Brentwood. I remembering feeling so special when she was cutting our hair. Great memories to cherish. She will be missed by all the family.

Thank you for all of the great photographic memories posted here, they beautifully capture the life of an incredible woman. One of a kind. 

This is not goodbye, for I know that you are in God's arms now, and he has merely just brought you home, you were one of his top crusaders, and in his presence, you will have the joy and peace that you so richly deserve. 

Known as 'grandma' to me and to many of us, she was a very important part of my life, from babysitter to role model, and she always wanted the best for all of the children. 

Although always impeccably fashionable and well put together, grandma loved nothing more than to toss on an apron and cook up a huge feast for the family, and anyone else in need of a good meal. Her love for us was reflected in these get togethers, which meant the world to her, and also to us. Sorry for sneaking all of the baking ingredients from the Lazy Susan, and honestly, it only backfired on us kids, because those were there because you wanted to bake for us! 

Although I will never be half the cook you were, I do make a decent cheese ball, and I hope that I have become half the woman you would want me to be, although not even half the woman you were. With what little you had to give at times, you gave it all, willingly. You blessed so many lives, and put others before yourself, so although we have to say goodbye in this life, you have forever left an imprint in our hearts. Please continue to watch over us.
