Mandy was born in Calgary on November 4, 1982. She was sassy even as a child and made many friends in Calgary and Red Deer. Mandy studied engineering at the University of Calgary and after graduation she began working for a wind energy consultation company. She was passionate about the environment and worked hard to help Canada move towards renewable energy.
Mandy loved food, wine, and family most of all. One of her fondest memories was eating at Alinea in Chicago. She loved her annual wine tour in the Okanagan with 2 of her closest friends and her trip to Napa Valley.
Mandy also loved travel and her family was blessed to spend time with her in Nicaragua, China, San Francisco, and the Maritimes.
She cherished her time with her nieces and nephews, who will remember her fondly.
Mandy is lovingly remembered by her parents Phil and Val, her brother Matthew, her cousin Katrina, her step-mother Sandra, her grandparents John and Joyce, and a myriad of family, friends, and colleagues.
A private family service will be held.
