Reverend Alvin William Roth

Reverend Alvin Roth went home to be with his Lord and Saviour on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at the age of 86 years. He is lovingly remembered by his wife Nancy; children Ryan (Laurika), Randy (Lois), Nelson (Joanne), Jodie (Sharon) and Melissa; grandchildren Lisa, Erin, Rena, Savannah, Kanika and Antoine; sister Ruth and sister-in-law Ida as well as by numerous nieces and nephews. Alvin was welcomed into Heaven by his first wife, Idella, and also sisters, brothers and family who have gone before. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at a Visitation held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Monday, July 29, 2013 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Those wishing to attend the Interment should meet at the gates of Queen’s Park Cemetery at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 30, 2013. A Celebration of Alvin’s Life will be held at Bridgeland Campus of Centre Street Church, 235 8A Street N.E., Calgary, AB on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Samaritan’s Purse Canada, 20 Hopewell Way N.E., Calgary, Alberta T3J 5H5.
