December 10, 1970 - July 6, 2012
Alice Sarah Langlois passed away peacefully at Foothills Hospital in Calgary, Alberta on Friday, July 6, 2012 at the age of 41 years after a brief battle with cancer. She leaves behind and will be sadly missed by her Dad, Blaney (Judy), sister Dawn, brother Darren, sister-in-law Julie, nephew Devon as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Especially her 2 lifelong friends who were like sisters, Carol-ann and Lesa. Alice was predeceased by her mom, Claire. The cremation took place at Foster's Garden and Chapel followed by a small service for her friends and family in Calgary conducted by Deacon Dante Muzzo. Eulogy was given by her brother Darren. Her boss Nina Dumsky spoke as well, letting everyone know how much the daycare missed Alice. She said Alice was like her right hand. Then Shannon, Alice's coworker and friend spoke about how Alice made her look forward to going to work. Also, Alice's jolly self was a pleasure to be around. Shannon also said that Alice was her coworker but also a true friend and that she loved her and will miss her. There was a video tribute with the music of Please Remember Me by Tim McGraw and Love me Tender by Elvis Presley. Sissy's Song by Alan Jackson was played as the guests walked to their seats. Alice's final resting place will take place at St. James cemetery in the summer of 2013 in Gaspe, Quebec. So, it is sad to say goodbye to someone so beautiful on the inside as well as the outside. Rest in Peace Alice. Until we meet again.
SISTER YOU HAVE A SPECIAL PLACE IN MY HEART
There is an understanding we have developed,
a relationship that shows we care,
and a oneness that has grown out of respect, patience and love.
I wish you all that you desire and all that is beautiful.
You will forever be a part of me and my life,
because you have a place in my heart.

Love you my sister, my friend, until we meet again xxoo Dawn
In Loving Memory of Alice Sarah Langlois
1970-2012
Why did you have to go and die?
I didn't want to have to say goodbye so soon.
God must have thought you were very special to take you away,
but couldn't he have waited for just another day?
God's looking after you now,
High, high up in the sky.
Up there where all the angels lie.
You wouldn't have wanted us to make a fuss,
After all, you're still here with all of us.
We know you are somewhere very, very near,
Deep down in all our hearts.
I feel a warmth around me,
like your presence is so near.
And I close my eyes to visualize your face when you were here,
I endure the times we spent together and they are locked inside my heart.
For as long as I have those memories we will never be apart.
R.I.P.
My dear friend Alice.
