Alecia Dawn Maudsley passed away peacefully with her family by her side on August 20, 2022 at the age of 33, following a near 5 year battle with cancer. Another angel had joined those who have previously passed to provide comfort and watch over our family.
Alecia was born in Calgary, Alberta on July 7, 1989. She was loving and devoted to her parents and stepmother, sisters, grandmother, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, extended family, friends and close family friends. She was a kind, generous and compassionate soul who would provide comfort in words and deeds to those she felt needed her help. Alecia had a gift of the written word which brought comfort, care and expression of love with impeccable timing to those who were in need.
Donations can be made in Alecia’s honor to the Canadian Mental Health Association – Calgary Region or Canadian Cancer Society.
