Adelle Fay Palmer was born on September 13, 1958 and passed away Friday, September 13, 2024, in Calgary, Alberta, at the age of 66 years. She leaves behind Rick, her loving husband of over 44 years, and her 2 kids, Alyssa (Tony) and Adam (Andrew). She is survived by her parents, Lyle and Gill Pittman; siblings Grant (Joyce), Michelle (Don), Heather (Rod), and Paul (Shannon), as well as numerous nieces and nephews, in-laws, and many friends.
Adelle was born in Montreal, but came to Alberta as a child and spent the rest of her life here. Once her kids were grown, she and Rick travelled as often as they were able to, experiencing numerous countries in Europe, climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, and most recently, visiting Japan. She loved to sit in the Jardin du Luxembourg in Paris near the flowers, reading a book and people watching. When they weren’t travelling, Adelle loved spending time in the Rocky Mountains, hiking, camping and running. She was an original member at CrossFit Calgary. Adelle was a fabulous chef, passing on her talent to her kids, creating many family classic recipes, and hosting numerous dinners. While her passing was far too soon, she enjoyed a full life with many adventures, and couldn’t ask for anything more.
At Adelle’s request, no service will be held. Cremation was in care of Foster’s Garden Chapel. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the charity of your choice.
