Ada Mary Eldridge

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear, sweet mom Ada Mary Eldridge on Sunday, April 14, 2013 in Calgary, AB. Mom was born in England on May 25, 1919. In 1952 Mom, Dad, Irene and Raymond immigrated to Quebec to start a new adventure together. Ada leaves to mourn her daughters Irene Eldridge (Denis Lavigne), Cheryl Bailey (Gerald), and Susan LeBlanc (Georges) as well as her beautiful grandchildren Shannon Lavigne (Craig Klassen), Jessica Lavigne, Kyle Bailey, Kayla Bailey, Jenna LeBlanc, Jordy LeBlanc and her wonderful great-grandchildren Sterling and Kaeden Klassen and Emma and Avery Lavigne. She also leaves behind extended family in Spain, England, Australia and Ontario. She was predeceased by her only son, Raymond George Eldridge, in 1976. A Celebration of Ada’s Life will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice in Ada’s memory.
