Stephanie Lynn Lenk

Stephanie Lynn Lenk, age 40, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, February 17, 2024 at her home in Wyoming, Michigan. Stephanie was a loving, free-spirited individual who loved people and making relationships. She was a strong-willed individual, but still had a soft side. Stephanie was known to lend a helping hand to those in need and had a heart of gold. She loved crafting, animals, and spending time with her family - especially her niece and nephew. Stephanie worked at the J&H Family Store in Byron Center for a number of years and later became the general manager. She loved creating relationships with people as they came and went about their day. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew her.

Stephanie will be deeply missed by her parents Gordon and Melody Huizenga; brother, Geoffrey (Jessica) Huizenga; niece and nephew, Hailee and Grant; significant other, Josh Soentgen; Josh’s son, Wyatt; and many extended relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Donald and Sylvia Hamilton and paternal grandparents Albert and Edna Huizenga.

A celebration of Stephanie’s life visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Friday, March 1, 2024 at Cook Funeral Home - Byron Center Chapel, 2067 84th St. SW, Byron Center, MI 49315. In memory of Stephanie’s love for animals and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Harbor Humane Society.
