Ruth Lubbers, age 89, went to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, September 14, 2021. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda; son, Brad; daughter-in-law, Susan; granddaughter, Samantha; and great-grandson, Theodore.
She will be lovingly missed by her husband of 70 years, Bernie Lubbers; children Jerry and Bonnie Lubbers, Bruce and Deb Lubbers, Gord and Mary Lubbers, Ed and Melanie Hekstra, Ken and Machele Elzinga, Heather Lubbers, Doug and Lisa Lubbers; 25 grandchildren; 84 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation with Ruth’s family and friends will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Byron Center Protestant Reformed Church, 1945 84th St. SW, Byron Center. Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, September 17, 2021 at church. Livestream will be available through Byron Center PRC's website or sermonaudio.com. Professor Russell Dykstra will be officiating. In honor of Ruth, contributions may be made to Heritage and Adams PRC Schools.
