It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved son, Rowan, who left us far too soon to be with Jesus on August 19, 2024. He would have celebrated his seventh birthday on August 31, 2024, and his vibrant spirit will forever be cherished in our hearts.
Rowan was a delightful little boy whose laughter could light up any room. His infectious giggles and playful nature brought joy to everyone around him. He had a unique ability to find humor in the simplest of things, making even the dullest days feel like an adventure. Whether he was cracking jokes or pulling silly faces, he had a knack for making people smile.
He adored spending time with his momma, who was his greatest supporter and confidante. Their bond was unbreakable, filled with laughter, love, and countless back tickles that would comfort him to sleep. Those quiet moments together will be forever treasured.
In addition to his love for Pokémon, Rowan had a budding interest in golf. He would often be seen swinging his little club in the backyard, dreaming of becoming a champion one day. His enthusiasm for the game was evident, and he enjoyed sharing his newfound skills with family and friends. Rowan loved spending countless hours enjoying life together with his siblings Bailey (Karlie), Shelby (Ethan), Aiden, Merik, and Bryson.
Rowan will be deeply missed by his parents Brandi and Brian Pols; grandparents Karen Morey, Jerry and Sally Pols; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and friends. He was preceded in death by his papa, Milford Morey.
Although Rowan’s time with us was brief, his impact was profound. He taught us all the importance of laughter, love, and living life to the fullest. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
In honor of Rowan’s favorite color, the family invites guests to wear an article of orange clothing to the services.
Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at Cook Funeral Home (Byron Center Chapel), 2067 84th St. SW, Byron Center, MI 49315. A celebration of Rowan’s life will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, August 29, 2024 at Cornerstone Church, 1675 84th St. SE, Caledonia, MI 49316, with visitation from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Rowan’s GoFundMe https://www.gofundme.com/f/show-love-and-support-for-brandi-and-family? The family welcomes memories and messages at www.cookcaresbyron.com in Rowan’s online guestbook.
Rest in peace, sweet boy. Your laughter will echo in our hearts forever.
