He will be remembered by his wife, Delores “Dee” Wieske; four children Jaime Houth, Robert A. Wieske, Christina and Nicole Ruecker; nine grandchildren Mattalyn, Jailyn, Jaxson, Lillyana, Zaryiah, Aryana, Brooklyn, Xavier, and Curtis; one brother, Steven; two sisters, Ellen, and Denise; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
He liked to cook; play crossword puzzles; watch TV, movies, concert videos; and play online phone games. He knew how to make you laugh and cheer you up when you’re down. He also enjoyed talking with the grandkids and letting them play with his hair. He even let his nails get painted black with one nail painted red. Basically, he knew how to have fun.
A celebration of Robert’s life will be held at a later date and time to be determined in spring 2025. In honor of Bob and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Newaygo County Autism Community or The Gerber Foundation.
