Robert James Johnson

On Tuesday, April 18, 2023, Robert Johnson, went to be with his Lord at the age of 72. He was preceded in death by his parents Donald and Rita Johnson; in-laws Albert and Geraldine Swiger; special niece, Sarah Langlois. He is survived by his wife, Pamela Johnson; children Robert Johnson Jr., Albert (Amy) Schut, and Chad (Karen) Johnson; grandchildren Brett, Alex, Kendall (Blake), and David (Kaylee); great-grandchildren; siblings Dan (Pat) Johnson, Larry Johnson, Joe (Jeanne) Johnson, Rita (Vince) Langlois, Don (Sue) Johnson; brothers- and sisters-in-law Gerald (Barb) Swiger and Shari (Nyle) Potter; aunt, Margaret Coble; special friends Linda, Debbie, Ray, and Jerry; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Robert was an avid fisherman. He also enjoyed bowling, and loved being with family and friends.

A Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 28, 2023 at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, 9408 Wilson Ave. SW, Byron Center, MI 49315, with an hour of visitation prior to Mass. Luncheon to follow. The family welcomes memories and messages in their guest book online at www.cookcaresbyron.com.
