Marilyn Joan Lubbers, December 23, 1940 - August 16, 2024. World's best wife, mom, grandma, great-grandma, and friend. Marilyn went to be with her Jesus peacefully, surrounded by her family. Waiting in Heaven to greet her was her daughter, Karla, and her granddaughter, Kendall.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 63 years, Gerald (Gras). Marilyn was the love of Gras' life. Gras never left her side; he took the best care of her! She also left behind her precious best friend, Marie Faber; children Kim and Charlie Manifold, Kandi and Carl Williams; grandchildren Jamie and Randy Lemmer, Soijer, Journie, Zion, and Judson Manifold, Karlie Williams, Gerri and Nick Klunder, Levi and Shelby Preslie, Kalli Williams, Kassie and Jon Bont, and Kaleb Wubbeling; great-grandchildren Harvey and Bekah, Kaymin, Tobe, Dorothy, and Millie Lemmer, Klemson, Basil, Beaudon, and Chester Klunder, Graham and Everett Bont; Sister, Beatrice Broersma; brother, Rog Shoemaker.
There will be a celebration of her life from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at the family farm.
