Laurie Baareman

Laurie loved to travel, she especially enjoyed Aruba and Europe. She also enjoyed camping, boating, playing games, music of all kinds, and enjoyed holiday activities with the grandkids. Most importantly, Laurie lived each day for her family and loved spending as much time as possible with them. She enjoyed family get-togethers, and was looking forward to being a GREAT-Grandma!

She will be deeply missed by her husband of 33 years (all of them), Mark Baareman; children Christopher (Amanda) Baareman, Jeniffer (Adam) Ransom, Benjamin (Courtney) Baareman, David (Jessica) Neighbours; grandchildren Cody (Jennea), Nicolas (Emily), Desirae, Emma, Isabelle, Kaylee, Athriona, Edalyn; many extended family; and the many friends and colleagues she collected throughout her years.

Visitation with the family will be held from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at Cook Funeral Home (Byron Center Chapel), 2067 84th St. SW, Byron Center, MI 49315. A Celebration of Laurie’s life will be held 12 p.m. Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at Cook Funeral Home (Byron Center Chapel) with visitation from 11-11:45 a.m. prior to the service. In memory of Laurie and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family to assist with final expenses.
