Jerry was best known for his sense of humor and quick wit. He found great joy in making others laugh. He owned and operated a successful tool and die shop before retiring 20 years ago, and continued those skills in his workshop over the last several years. His greatest source of pride came from his children and grandchildren - all of whom he loved dearly.
Jerry was preceded in death by his son, Randy Baker; parents Ann and Richard Galloway, and Frank and Donna Baker; brothers Frank and Dan Baker; and son-in-law, Kirk Dobson. He will be lovingly remembered by his children Jolynne (Steve) Knowlton, Jeri Ditta, Rick Baker, Jayme (Jason) Jeffrey, Kelley (Charlie) Wosserott, Kathy (Andrew) Smith; former wife, Betty Baker (Reminga); 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; siblings Fran Wyn, Beth Whitener, Gary Galloway, Pam Baker, and Jake Baker; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Jerry’s children would like to extend their gratitude to the staff and volunteers at Faith Hospice - Trillium Woods for the way they so lovingly cared for their dad.
