Debra VanderLugt, age 67, was swept into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Wednesday, October 11, 2023. Her memory will be cherished by her husband of 42 years, Tom; children Brian (Jessica) VanderLugt, David VanderLugt; grandchildren Madelyn, Alyssa, Lilyana, and Ellery; sister, Mary (John) DeBruin; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Deb will be remembered by her loving kindness, huge heart, and sparkling personality. Deb cherished her family and loved them with her whole heart. She had the spiritual gift of encouragement and the ability to uplift everyone around her. Deb loved her church community and used her passion for music to serve the body of Christ.
Funeral services for Deb will be held 12 p.m. Monday, October 16, 2023, with visitation beginning at 10 a.m., at Green Lake Calvary Church, 608 145th Ave., Caledonia, Michigan 49316.
