Clarice Elberta Hair

Clarice Elberta Hair, age 89, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, June 18, 2023. Clarice was born to Clare and Ethel White at home in Bay Township, Michigan. She met the love of her life, William Hair, at their one-room schoolhouse, Murray School, in 1947 and were later married in 1952. Together, they raised five children in Madison Heights and later relocated to Byron Center. Clarice was a homemaker by trade and loved to spend time with her family. She was a long-time member of the Salvation Army and managed the Salvation Army store in Royal Oak, Michigan. She will be deeply missed.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, William Hair; children Becky (Jay) Sieger, Larry (Liz) Hair, Mike Hair, Joanne (Tom) Johnson; grandchildren Todd, Daniel, Marcus, Valene, Sharlene, Patrick, Logan, Karlie; five great-grandchildren; and many extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Clare and Ethel White; son, Bill Hair; and six siblings.

Per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family graveside committal will be held at a later date.
