Blake Alexander Bailey, age 27, passed away unexpectedly Friday, September 16, 2022. Blake will be missed by his family more than could ever be put into words. His kind and loving heart, his deep and gentle soul, his fantastic sense of humor and quick wit, his amazing intelligence and talents, and absolutely lovable demeanor filled the hearts of all who knew him, and will live on forever in his family’s memories. Blake was an example of caring, compassion, patience, and love. He was not judgmental of anyone…he was a “good human” to, and about, others. He lived his life this way and he treated others this way. Blake was an incredibly fun person to be around, and had such a neat, clever, witty way about him - never failing to surprise us and make us laugh!
Blake worked very hard throughout his young life, and fought to overcome many obstacles. He never complained about anything, and was always willing to help anyone in any way that he could.
Blake acquired his associate degree, and was most recently working to gain his certificate in the field of HVAC. He was employed at Steelcase, where he worked hard, kept his coworkers laughing, and was developing some good friendships.
The loss of Blake in our lives is catastrophic to say the least. We are all so deeply saddened to have had him stolen from us. We are blessed and grateful to have had him touch our hearts, and be in our lives for the time that we had him. Each one of his family will carry a part of him with us as we continue on. And when we think of him, although heartbroken and tearful, we will smile to have had him, and thank him for being who he was to us.
Blake leaves behind a loving family who cherished and adored him: his dad and mom, Randy Bailey and Julie Bailey; big brother, Chase Bailey and sister-in-law, Kelsie Bailey and his precious niece, Ellewyn Rose Bailey; big sister, Amber Rose Bailey; Grandpa Buzz (Larry Bailey); Nunna and Grandpa, Jan and Dave McCordock; Aunt Stacey Backhus, Uncle Todd Backhus and cousins Coda Brinkert (Michelle Castillo), and Sarah Brinkert; Uncle Todd and Aunt Pam Bailey and cousins Mitchell (Jada), Nick, and Rachel Bailey; Uncle Scot Bailey; Aunt Robyn (Kirk) Bailey and cousin, Samantha (Curtis) Potter; Aunt Susie and Uncle Joe Hartman and cousins Michael and Joey Hartman.
Blake was preceded in death by Uncle Mike McCordock, and Grandma Meema, Carol Bailey.
Our loving Heavenly Father is caring for Blake in His Heavens for us now, and will hold him in His arms forevermore.
