Susan Elaine Taylor Cagle

Elaine was born in Burnet, March 5, 1954, to the late Christelle and William “Bill” Taylor and was the granddaughter of Suzy (McFarlin) and Ellis Taylor of Bertram. Elaine was raised in Odessa, Texas and graduated High School at Permian in 1972. She and her sons moved back to Burnet in 1992.

Elaine worked at Seton Highland Lakes Medical Center in Burnet for many years. She also had worked at Galloway Hammond Center for several years in Burnet.

Elaine is survived by her sons Roy Farris of Dallas, Texas and Will Cagle of Burnet. Also surviving are her two brothers Billy Taylor and Joe Tom Taylor. She was also survived by many other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday March 1, 2012. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday March 2, 2012 at Joppa Church with Reverend Ryan Schmidt officiating. Interment will follow at Bear Creek Cemetery.
