Buster was born on June 27, 1974, in Burnet, Texas, where he graduated High School. He became a legendary aerial telecommunications lineman, serving for 30 years. His career and passion allowed him to travel across Texas and many other destinations. Buster was a funny, dedicated, and devoted man, and once you cut through his tough exterior, you found the most loving, loyal, tender-hearted person you would ever meet.
In 2008 his daughter, Lauren, the love of his life, was born, and his son, Hayden, his wish that came true, was born in 2011. He was a proud lineman and enjoyed having BBQs, racing with his best friends, visiting the lake, and exploring new adventures that would guarantee a classic Buster story he would share later to make his audience laugh. His two children were his pride and joy.
He loved to pick on his older sister, Kay, daily. She was his best friend and the rock he leaned on throughout his life.
Buster is survived by his daughter Lauren; son Hayden and their mother Shauna; his mother Thelma & father Tom; his sister Kay and her husband Robert; his brother Randy and his wife Letty; his nephews Chase, Kyle, and Jacob; his niece Megan, her husband Tyler, and his great nephews Dexter and Logan; plus countless friends that have become his family. Roland Buster Davis was preceded in death by his father, Roland Brice Davis and his great nephew, Elliot August Danger.
A memorial service honoring the life of Buster will be held on April 29th, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Rockpointe Church 1070 Co Rd 177, in Leander, Texas. The family requests that all attendees wear their "Sunday best" but refrain from wearing black.
