Paul Jones

Paul Douglas Jones born November 11, 1946 left this earth on February 26, 2024, he was proceeded in death by his son, Paul Douglas Jones II, Mother Frances Estelle Jones and Father Harney Theodore Jones.

Paul was born in Austin, Texas and spent a large portion of his life in Lockhart area. He entered the Air Force at the age of 17 and served his country well. He later worked as a disc jockey and a sales manager and spokesperson for television station in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Paul married Paula Brinkley on January 20,1968.

Paul leaves behind in life his wife, Paula Jones, daughters Melissa Skinner and Suzanne Phillips and his sons, Philip and Patrick Jones. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren.

Paul enjoyed attending church services, rodeos with his family and time on his ranch. He enjoyed his gun collection and country life altogether.

On February 28, 2024, a graveside service will be held at Smithwick cemetery at 2:00pm where Paul will be laid to rest by his son, Paul and granddaughter, Brinkley Skinner.

Paul was an incredible mind, family provider and loved by his family. He will be missed greatly.
