Michael graduated from Snyder High School and graduated from Western Texas State Junior College with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminology. He was a member of Hill Country Fellowship, and he loved his job with Old Castle. He was a bull rider in his younger years. Michael coached girls’ softball, loved to fish and loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Michael is survived by his sweetheart and wife Laurie Sellars of Burnet, daughters Tara and husband Steven Luke of Burnet, Valerie Kammer McDonald of San Antonio, Neeley and Charles Travis of Port Aransas, Renise Lechow and husband Lugo Perez of Lampasas, and LeeAnn K. and husband Richard Davis of North Zulch, mother-in-law Carolyn Riley of Burnet, brother Crystal “Sonny” and wife Connie Sellars of Phoenix, AZ; Lola his dog and 16 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters Wanda Coffey and Norma Joyce Sellars and a grandson Stephan Davis.
A graveside service will be Tuesday February 5, 2019 at 10:00 am at Holland Cemetery.
