Michael Hampton

Mike or “Mikey” as he was known, worked most of his adult life as a carpet and flooring man until his knees wore out. He loved pick-up trucks, enjoyed listening to George Carlin and all kinds of music. Many will remember Mike from seeing him around town and sitting in front of HEB where he enjoyed spending time visiting with his friends and the store employees as they would come and go. Mike lived in Burnet for many years and will be remembered as a talker, good listener and someone with an infectious laugh.

Survivors include three brothers, two sisters and other his other family and many friends who cared for him.

A Memorial Service in memory of Mike will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at the Vanderveer Street Church of Christ.
