Mr. Marion “Wayne” Noble of Burnet passed away at his home January 7, 2020, at the age of 86. He was preceded in death by his wife of 32 years Jo Ann Noble. Wayne is survived by his daughter Carol L. Jarecki, his grandchildren Jennifer (Gerardo) Churion, Justin (Stephanie) Hockett, Dakota Cranford, Kyle Mills, and great grandchildren Orlando and Robinson Churion and extended family Cheryl and Delicca Strawn.
Wayne was a resident of Burnet for 40 years. He served in the Army for 25 years, retiring in 1975 at the rank of SFC. Wayne served in Law Enforcement for 12 years and as an EMT for 8 years. Wayne served with the Lampasas Sheriff Department, Lampasas Police Department and then the Burnet Sheriff Department. He volunteered his time with the City of Burnet ambulance services and for a few years assisted in the operation of the crematory of Clements-Wilcox funeral Home in Burnet.
Wayne was an avid motorcycle rider and was a member of the Austin Road Riders for 20 years and the Retread Club for 4 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and golfing at Delaware Springs Golf Course where his wife Jo Ann served in the kitchen.
A Memorial Service with Military Honors will be conducted at 11 AM Friday, January17 at the Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home Chapel.
