Ira Lee spent multiple years sitting on the Soil and Conservation Board. He served in the U.S. Army and for many years worked alongside his wife at her flower shop in Bertram.
He loved to fish and hunt with both family and friends. He had a love for family, friends, animals, and the land, but most of all The Lord above. He walked in big shoes and they will be hard to fill. Most people knew him for his firm handshake, just short of breaking your hand. As all of us know, he and his handshake will not be forgotten.
