Frank Light

Frank Light, age 61 passed away February 27, 2017 at his Council Creek home near Burnet. He was born February 16, 1956 in Llano to Marvin Light and Virginia Davis Light. Frank lived in the Council Creek community on Lake Buchanan since 1963. He was a truck driver and also a former employee of the City of Burnet where he took great pride in the work he did with the Parks Department. He was a family man, took great care of his Mom, and put his grandkids first, then the kids.

Frank enjoyed living in Council Creek, riding motorcycles, being outdoors, and cooking BBQ. Even after a disabling accident in October in 2010 Frank was able to maintain a full and active life.

Frank is survived by his wife Cindy, daughters and sons-in-law Karie and Wayne Bachmayer, Sarah and Leslie Ray, son Steven Light, grandchildren Spencer Ray, Carly-Jean Ray, Matilyn Bachmayer, Kayeson Light, Jesse Bachmayer and Jackson Ray. Frank is also survived by his mother Virginia, brother Mike Light, Susan Schaeffer, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Marvin Light and mother-in-law Norma Matern.
