Dorothy Adele Edwards Ettinger

Dorothy Adele Edwards Ettinger, 68, of Oatmeal, Texas passed away Thursday March 16, 2017 in Austin, Texas. She was born August 10, 1948 in Houston, Texas to Orlo Edwards and Nettie Gower. She was preceded in death by her parents and a stepfather Delford Taylor. She is also preceded by three siblings: Darlene Dean, Orlo Edwards Jr. and Darrell Taylor. She is survived by her loving children: Bubba Ettinger and wife Ceci of Oatmeal, Texas; Denise Maple and husband Randy of Leander, Texas; Amanda Myatt and husband Adam of Cedar Park, TX; and Jacqueline Sutton of Clyde, TX; also 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren who all knew her as Nana. She is also survived by her sister Debra Walker (Dennis) of Deer Park, Texas and her brother Dennis Taylor (Mary) of Pleasant Valley, New York, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Dorothy will be remembered for her love of God and family. She loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed. She was a faithful member of Hill Country Fellowship Church and loved her Bible study groups and fellowship.

Visitation will be Monday, March 20, 2017 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home, 306 Polk St., Burnet, Texas.

Memorial Service will be Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Hill Country Fellowship Church, 200 Houston Clinton Dr., Burnet, Texas. Her final resting place will be at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park in Burnet, Texas.
