David Tuttle Sr.

On Wednesday, October 9th, 2024- Our wonderful Husband, Dad and Papa- David Richard Tuttle gained his wings and went home to be with our Lord. He leaves behind a legacy that will span lifetimes, and a vacant space devoid of his cheerful disposition and one of a kind sense of humor. To say he will be missed is truly an understatement. Born on Sept 13th 1933 in Austin, Texas he grew up Next door to, and married the love of his life Jean. They had 62 loving years together, 3 children, 7 grandchildren, and 8 great grand children with 2 more on the way. He Retired from the University of Texas at Austin in 2003, and lived out the rest of his life with his family in Bertram Texas.

He is preceded in death by his mother Lydia, Father Francis, brother Bernard, and sister Norma Jean. He is survived by his loving wife Jean, children David Jr. and wife Kathy, Darren and wife Michelle, Gina and husband Steve- Grandchildren Rachel, Travis, Ryan, Courtney, Haylee, Hunter, and Danielle and their spouses and significant others plus 8 great grandchildren, and adored nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of life will be held for close family and friends at a later date.
