Dana Elaine Hale Reynolds was born in Haskell Texas on January 8, 1970 to Pat and Jean Hale. Dana was the third daughter of three beautiful girls. Even though her sisters Kim and Pam were older they still giggled and played and fought like they were triplets.
She was a precocious and beautiful girl growing up. Very smart and athletic, she excelled at everything she did. Her go-getter personality was a recurring theme throughout her life. After graduating early from high school, she attended Abilene Christian University and Texas Tech University. She met her husband Todd Reynolds while in Lubbock and they were married in 1992. She had many careers and hobbies. She was a gourmet cook, interior designer, architect, teacher, historian, genealogist, daughter, mother, sister, wife, aunt, cousin and friend.
She loved the Lord Jesus, her family, her country and Dallas Cowboy rookie quarterback Dak Prescott.
She was a Daughter of the American Revolution and a Daughter of the Republic of Texas of which she was very proud. History was very important to her. She loved historical research and was an excellent writer. Her Master's thesis would have made a great book and movie.
Anyone who knew Dana couldn't help but realize she was first and foremost a mother. Not just a mother but Madison's mother. Everything she did was for Madison, including the courageous fight for her life the last 7 years. We love her so much, and even though many of us knew this day would come and have prepared for it in many ways, we are heartbroken and miss her already.
