Billy Ray Moreland, 84 of Burnet passed away Sunday, January 27, 2019. He was born August 2, 1934, in Buda to Raymond and Bernice (Christie) Moreland. He was a graduate of Burnet High School later a graduate of Howard Payne University. He also served in the United States Navy.
Billy never married and at the time of his death was survived by a brother Bobby Lynn Moreland also of Burnet and a sister Nedra Moreland Smith of Temple.
According to his wishes there will be no formal or public. Billy will be cremated and buried near his parents at the Post Mountain Cemetery in Burnet.
