Anna Mae Swonke

Anna Mae Gummert Swonke, born February 16, 1925 passed peacefully on October 25, 2017 at the age of 92. Anna Mae was a lifelong farmer, rancher and homemaker in the Addicks, Barker, Katy and Cypress area of Houston, Texas.

Anna Mae is preceded in death by her husband Casimir (Cash) John Swonke, her parents Arthur Paul Gummert and Bertha Marie Hirsch Gummert, her sister, Roberta Gummert Groschke and brother Arthur (Junior) Paul Gummert, Jr., and grandson, Dennis Clyde Jones, Jr.

Survivors include daughters, Carolyn Swonke Tanner and husband, Bill; Katherine Swonke Springs and husband, Bob; Janice Swonke Jones; and son, Douglas Wayne Swonke and wife, Lisa.

Anna Mae is survived by five grandchildren, Rob Campbell and wife, Lisa; Rachelle Tanner Zenzen and husband, Scott; Rob Springs and wife, Amy; Clyde Jones; and Landon Swonke.

Anna is also survived by four great grandchildren, Faith Springs, Henry Campbell, Ethan Zenzen, Maryssa Zenzen and many nieces and nephews.

A gathering of celebration for friends and family is scheduled for 2:00 PM Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home in the Mausoleum, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, Texas 77077 (281-497-2330}.
