丁雪萍 Lisa Xue Ping Ding

丁雪萍女士(Lisa) 于2022年10月30日仙逝，离开了深爱她的家人: 丈夫文才，妹妹雪芳和雪华，女儿Michelle，女婿James和外孙Brendan。

雪萍出生于中国上海，毕业于复旦大学。曾经是一位成功的记者。晚年她与丈夫一起移居加拿大和女儿一家幸福地生活共享天伦之乐。在加拿大，她活跃于大温老年华人社团，参加了合唱团，舞蹈队，模特儿队和学习英语，认识了很多知心的朋友。

在老同事眼中，雪萍是一位充满热情和正义感的出色记者；在朋友眼中，她是一位乐观，善良，有同情心，热爱生活和艺术的“开心果”；在家人眼中，她是一位良妻，慈母和无私的大姐。

雪萍悠美的歌声和爽朗的笑容将永远留在我们的心里和记忆中❤️

Ms. Xue Ping Ding, also known as Lisa, passed away peacefully on October 30, 2022. Xue Ping is survived by her husband Wen Cai, sisters Xue Fang and Xue Hua, daughter Michelle, son-in-law James and grandson Brendan.

Xue Ping was born in Shanghai China, graduated from Fudan University. She was a successful journalist before moving to Canada after retirement and since lived happily with her daughter’s family. In Canada, she had enjoyed an active life joining Chinese seniors’ societies singing, dancing, modelling, learning English and had made a lot of good friends.

Xue Ping is remembered by her old colleagues as a passionate and hard working journalist; she is also remembered by her friends as a kind, optimistic and compassionate person who loves life and art; most importantly, she is remembered by her family as a caring and selfless wife, sister, mother and grandma.

Xue Ping’s beautiful voice and joyous smile will forever be in our hearts and memories ❤️
