Mrs. Yuen Yu Wong

Married to Tack Yee Wong in 1949, they raised five children - Jenny, Austin, Baldwin, Clement and Clare. While raising the growing family, she always supported Tack Yee in his business, including running her own manufacturing business in the 1970’s which was uncommon in those days! After moving to Vancouver, Yuen Yu devoted her time to taking care of her husband and family, and met many new friends who always appreciated her hospitality and amazing cooking!

In recent years, she continued to enjoy meeting with friends over lunch, watching her favourite TV dramas, and playing mahjong games at which she excelled!

Yuen Yu passed away peacefully at Vancouver General Hospital on September 3rd, 2021 at the age of 93, surrounded by all her children, who will miss her dearly!

Yuen Yu will also be missed by sons-in-law Henry and Victor, daughters-in-laws Lulu and Eileen, grandsons Marcus, Brandon, Alex and Aaron, granddaughter Jaime and granddaughter-in-law Tammy.

Yuen. Yu lived a full and rich life, with a devoted husband, adoring children and caring friends. She will remain in our hearts forever!

A funeral service in honor of Yuen Yu's life will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home on Thursday September 23rd at 10:00am at 3789 Royal Oak Avenue in Burnaby, BC.
