Yuan Yung Yang, 93, of Vancouver, BC passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2014.
He was born in Beijing China on Dec. 10, 1920. He graduated from Sun Yat-Sen University with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering in 1942. He was married to Wai King Lau on July 10, 1943.
Yuan Yung retired as Chief Engineer in Rediffusion in Hong Kong in 1972. He and Wai King immigrated to Canada in 1986. They both enjoyed travelling and photography.
Yuan Yung is survived by his wife, Wai King Lau, daughter Shirley Yang, son Herb Yang, four grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
A viewing will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 13, 2014. The Funeral Service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 14, 2014.
