Mr. Yoke Chong

CHONG -- Yoke Quay passed away April 10, 2012 aged 90. Predeceased by his parents, brother George, sisters Jennie, Laura, and Thelma, he is survived by sister Allena and many nieces and nephews who will miss him terribly. Yoke was born in Vancouver, where he lived and worked his entire life, enjoying much success and the respect of his colleagues at CM Oliver and Canaccord. He was a well-read, fair man, with always a positive outlook, and could be counted on for these qualities either as a family member or highly-regarded mentor to those younger. The family is grateful to the staff at Vancouver and Bradden Hospitals, and would especially like to acknowledge the valiant and tireless assistance of the paramedics who came to assist. Service will be at 2 pm, Friday April 20, 2012 at Forest Lawn, 3789 Royal Oak Avenue, Burnaby. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice would be gratefully appreciated.
