Hello, Mr. Chan.

I remember the first day that you arrived at Little Mountain Place. You had a lot of fun at the Drum Beating Circle and that was when I first got to know you as you were beating the drums next to my mother. During your stay at the nursing home, we have become great friends and I have come to adore you. It was through you that I was fortunate enough to have met your wonderful and supportive family.  My only regret is that I did not have a chance to come visit you in your room after you came back from the Hospital, and for that I am and will be forever sorry. Please know that during your stay at the Hospital and your final days with us, you were always on my mind because there would always be an empty seat across from my mother at the dining table. I wish you a peace in your final journey, my friend.
