Wu Fu Chien

March 1, 1941 – November 10, 2024

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Wu Fu Chien, who peacefully departed this world on November 10, 2024, in Vancouver, Canada, at the age of 83.

Born on March 1, 1941, Wu Fu Chien led a remarkable life devoted to purpose, love, and achievement. A graduate of Kaohsiung Medical University, he built a distinguished career that included founding his own successful import and export company. His dedication to excellence and service earned him the respect and admiration of all who knew him.

Outside of his professional pursuits, Wu Fu Chien found joy and challenge on the golf course. His skill and numerous trophies reflected his unyielding determination and passion for the game—qualities that defined him in every aspect of his life.

He is deeply loved and remembered by his wife, Shu Chu; his daughters, Tiffany and Gloria; his son, Justin; their spouses, John, Tony, and Jacey; and his grandson, Nathan, who brought endless pride and happiness to his life. He also leaves behind cherished siblings, nieces, nephews, and extended family who will forever honor his legacy of love, kindness, and gratitude.

A memorial service to celebrate Wu Fu Chien’s life will be held on Monday, December 2, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Ocean View Funeral Home, 4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby, BC, Canada. Family and friends are warmly invited to attend and commemorate the many lives he touched.

Flowers may be delivered to the funeral home by 2:00 PM on Sunday, December 1, 2024.

Wu Fu Chien will be deeply missed but never forgotten. His wisdom, generosity, and unwavering love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

我們懷著無比沉痛的心情宣告簡武夫先生於2024年11月10日在加拿大溫哥華安詳辭世，享年83歲。

簡武夫先生於1941年3月1日出生，度過了一生充滿意義、愛與成就的歲月。他畢業於高雄醫學院，並創辦了一家成功的進出口公司，在職業生涯中展現了卓越的成就。他憑藉著一顆仁愛的心和無私奉獻的精神，贏得了同僚與社會的尊敬與讚譽。

在專業領域之外，簡武夫先生對高爾夫運動充滿熱情。他在球場上的精湛技藝與眾多獎盃，彰顯了他堅韌不拔的精神和對生活的熱愛，這些特質在他人生的每個角落都熠熠生輝。

他的家人包括摯愛的妻子Shu Chu，兩位女兒Tiffany和Gloria，兒子Justin，以及女婿John、Tony和兒媳Jacey。他的孫子Nathan是他生命中無盡的喜悅與驕傲。他還留下了摯愛的兄弟姊妹、侄子侄女及其他家人，大家都會永遠懷念他的仁愛、善良與感恩。

追思會將於2024年12月2日（星期一）下午1:00至2:00在Ocean View 殯儀館（地址：4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby, BC, Canada）舉行，誠摯邀請親友一同參與，追憶簡武夫先生對大家的深刻影響。
