Mrs. Wai Lan Wong

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Wai-Lan Wong. Wai-Lan fought a courageous battle with cancer and ascended to heaven surrounded by her loved ones on Monday, December 6th, 2010. Wai-Lan is survived by her husband Shing Yeung, sons Jimmy and Benny, daughter Vera, daughter-in-laws May and Jennifer, son-in-law Alex and grandchildren Brandon, Katrina, Wesley, Chloe, Evan and Tyson.

Although you are no longer with us you will always be a part of us. You taught us to be strong when we did not know we had the strength. You always placed the needs of family above your own, and for that we will be forever grateful. You show us how to be compassionate and understanding when we would lose sight of what was important. Not a day will go by without the thought of how you have enriched our lives. You will always be remembered, forever missed and eternally loved.

Relatives and friends are invited to share in a celebration of Wai-Lan’s life at 10:30 am on Friday, December 17, 2010 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home (3789 Royal Oak Avenue, Burnaby, BC V5G 3M1). In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the BC Cancer Foundation in memory of Wai-Lan Wong.
