Mrs. Wai-Fong Tso

Born September 27, 1923 in Hong Kong, Selma passed away peacefully at the Vancouver Hospice Society on Saturday, April 22, 2017, in Vancouver, BC, at the age of 93.

Predeceased by her loving husband Huck On Tso in 2003 after 58 years of marriage; Selma is survived by her children: Felix (Ellen), Robert (Goretti), Lincoln (Caroline) and Jean (Ron); grandchildren Terence (Emily), Erica (Michael), Denise (Henry), Daryl, Celeste, Evelyn and Clarissa; and great-grandchildren Curtis, Owen, Isobel, Zoë, and Grant.

Selma was the pillar of the Tso family, and will be remembered for her beauty and kindness. She will be forever in our hearts and will be dearly missed by all. We would like to thank and express our deepest gratitude to Dr. Kenneth Chan; the doctors, nurses, staff and volunteers at the Vancouver Hospice Society; the doctors and nurses at the Acute Care for Elders unit at the Vancouver General Hospital; and the team of home support workers for their support and compassion that they showed to not only Selma, but to her family as well. We would also like to thank all the care givers for looking after Selma, allowing her to stay in the comfort of her own home in the remaining years of her life.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 1, 2017 at Ocean View Burial Park, 4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby at 10 am.
