We would like to express our sincere condolences to you and your family. I have many lovely memories of your mother and the genuine friendship our mothers once shared.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Just heard of Teta Vera’s passing. There are no words to that can express my sorrow. Your mom and dad were great people and will be missed. I often think about them both. Their memories will live on through us. Thoughts and prayers to all of you.

I met your mom and dad many years ago when i was in Burnaby staying with my sister. They were friends and neighbours and your mom babysat my nephews.My health wasn’t the best when i was there and so many times she would pop over to check in and always brought anything she could to put a smile on my face,usually her brownies and streudel.Just seeing her kind smile always made me feel better, and her soft voice was always comforting.Your dad didn’t hesitate to drive me to medical appointments and afterwards he would say”i’m not rushing home”and would take me on a little drive around just to pass some time. He made it sound like it was for him but i think he did it more for me.I always remember his sly mischievous grin when he would tease and your mom would give him a shy but slightly stern look of “Božo..stop it” and he would laugh,they were the cutest couple. A few years ago i was in Vancouver and was able to stop in and visit them. It was so good to see them.Your mom had tears in her eyes and we had the nicest visit.  As anyone can guess all the conversation was about family,theirs and mine.There was no mistake in how much pride they had in each and every one of you.It was just a really nice happy visit,i don’t ever remember there being any other kind.I was so sad to hear of your dad’s passing and needless to say heartbroken of your mom’s so soon afterwards.They were both such wonderful people to me, and their kindness will never be forgotten.I can imagine it’s hard to understand any reasoning in this. I can only think that your mom followed so soon after your dad to again make sure she kept that mischievous sparkle of his in check or maybe to keep him company on his next journey.Her strength and kind heart will always resonate in the ones she loved and without a doubt they will both be with you always.May you all find peace in their love and kindness…my thoughts are with you all through this very sad time ♥️

Dear Bob, Krista and your sweet sons Jackson, and Andrew.

I cannot express the heartbreak I feel for you at this time. I am simply heartbroken myself. It is not only shocking to lose this beautiful soul that was your mother and grandmother shortly after losing your father and grandfather, but to lose her at all and so suddenly.

Strina Vera was a genuine lovely human being full of grace, empathy and deep love for her family and friends. I admired her inner strength and loving nature towards people. She was one of those rare individuals who not only lived her truth, but showed her truth through her actions. She was strong in so many ways and so gentle, kind, and giving. I cannot imagine your family and our extended family ever being the same with Strina Vera and Stric Bozo in our lives.

Strina is gone too soon. I see her and Stric Bozo in your loving family. You are all a lovely tribute to their love and care.

Please know that we (My mom, sister, and I) are always here for you. Do not hesitate one moment to let us know if you need anything.
