#1 guy! He'll forever be missed and remembered for his gentle disposition. I'll always admire him for his contentment with himself and those around him. I'm privledged to have had such a great man surround me and shape me for so man years.

It is kind of pity that I never had a chance to meet uncle Ted personally, but I did speak with him on the phone several times. During my childhood and youth, while I was living in Poland, looking at the pictures and reading letters from aunt Marta, I was imagining the family and how they had lived. My mom was telling me stories about the marriage of Ted and Marta and their trip to Canada. Eventually I decided to emigrate too and experience something close to what they have been experiencing in their lives. I can only say that I wish my life would be as fulfilling as uncle Ted's and that my children and friends would be as grateful to me as his are to him.
All the extended family in Poland and I will miss you, uncle Ted. Our hearts are with aunt Marta, the children and the granddaughters.  May your soul rest in God!

All my life in Poland I heard stories about â€œTadekâ€ from his sister my Mom.
Like that he would take rifle and disappear in the woods for days in pre war 2 Poland,
He had to be less then 15.
I always imagined his life in the wild lands of Canada. Finally I met him first time in person few years ago.
Listening to his stories I knew that  he was very lucky man to find little place called Thasis and few lifetime friends.

OMG, the stories Ted told over the years we will cherish forever.  When Don and I got married Ted & Marta gave us two green sleeping bags and he was so proud of them because they joined together to make a double.  This was his way of passing on his love of the outdoors to us as a young couple.  Ted's passing leaves a huge hole in our family, he will be missed by the Dwulit family. Love to Marta, Stan, Lynda, Rodney, Alicia and Natasha.

A very sad time for all. Ted was an "Uncle" and mentor to me. I started fishing with Ted when I was very young. I remember sitting in his boat behind the bunkhouse waiting for him to show up. He would try to make me go to school, but I would talk him out of it and we would spend most of the day in the inlet fishing. We also walked many miles in the mountains hunting together. Taught me so much about the outdoors and wildlife. The memories I will treasure forever. I will miss the Coffee Times with Ted and Dad and the recap of all the news that I just finished watching and the many fishing and hunting stories.
Rest in Peace Ted. May you find the best hunting and fishing grounds out there. May Peace and Happiness return to the Swider and Kasper Families soon. Sincere Condolences.
