With great sadness , our family announces the passing of Sylvia Au (nee Lau). Sylvia passed away peacefully on February 2, 2011, with her daughter, Katie, by her bedside. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Tong, her daughter Katie, her grandchildren Michelle and Kevin and her sisters, Julienne and Suzanne. Sylvia was much loved and will be greatly missed by her family and all those who loved her. Our family would like to thank all those who kindly cared for her during her illness especially Pat, Susan and Marylin. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 3789 Royal Oak Avenue, Burnaby on Wednesday, February 9th, 2011 at 11:00 am. Interment to follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Remembrances in her name can be made to the B.C. Cancer Foundation.
