After a long battle with illness, it is with heartbreaking sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather, Santolo. Predeceased by his parents, Carmine and Emilia, brother, Mario, and sisters, Assunta and Rosa in Italy, his brothers-in-law, Tony Della Figliola and Benito Manzo. Left to mourn is his devoted wife of 62 years, Stella, his three adoring children: Carmine Esposito, Emilia (Gerardo) Gaeta, Mario (Ani) Esposito and nonno’s pride and joy, his grandchildren: Fiorentino, Giancarlo, Nikolas, Dario, Enrico, Enzo and Santino.
Santolo was born in Sarno, Salerno, Italy and was the second child of four. He was a beloved brother-in-law to Bernadina (Domenico) Liguori, Adele Manzo, Giuseppina Murano, Giuseppe (Clorinda) Crescenzo, Antonio (Elizabeth) Crescenzo, Salvatore (Vivian) Crescenzo and was the loving Zio to many nieces and nephews in Canada, Italy and the USA. He was a true friend to his extended family in Vancouver, leaving his loving craftsmanship in many homes and establishments in the Lower Mainland and British Columbia.
He forged lifelong relationships with his Marchesi Marblecraft co-workers and his many friends and neighbours throughout his life in Sarno, Italy, East Vancouver and home of 40 years in North Burnaby. He will be profoundly missed.
I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. Romans 8:18
