It is with regret we announce the passing of Ronald William Fox “Poppy”, beloved husband of Mary for 57 years; he is also survived by his daughter, Tammy, and his son-in-law and best friend, Gordon. He was so proud of his four grandchildren, Katie (Jack), Joey, Alex and Emily. He loved to travel and after 48 cruises had managed to see a good portion of the world. Ron was a very generous man and would give you the shirt off his back if you were in need. Predeceased by his father, Walter and his mother, Sybil; brothers, Percy, Jimmy, Ernie and Eddy. He was very proud of his more than 20 years in the RCAF as well as his association with The Sons of Scotland. Special thanks to Dr. Dubland, Dr. Chapman and the staff at St. Michael’s Hospice in Burnaby. There will be no service, at his request. Donations to the BC Cancer Agency would be appreciated.
